Important dates in a mother's life -

July 4, 2019 - the first time one of my children actually peed on the seat of a means of public transport.

July 15, 2019 - the date of our seemingly LAST EVER load of diaper laundry IN SIX YEARS, PEOPLE.

Aujourd'hui, je me suis présentée à un nouveau collègue comme "Quartz 2" - parce qu'une collègue ayant plus d'ancienneté porte le même prénom que moi.

Un autre collègue m'a coupée : "Non, Quartz 1. She's the life of the party."

Ça m'a fait un petit velours.
