Sérieux, là, je commence à être tannée de ne jamais recevoir mes affaires comme du monde.

Reste à espérer que ce colis-là se matérialisera lui aussi demain comme par magie.

The newest member of my workteam is huge. Seriously. He must be twice as tall and twice as large as I am. It's a shock to me to see someone so much bigger, but it's also a shock to him to see someone so much smaller.

At lunchtime, he was actually commenting on how tiny my shoes are. 

While saying so, he waved a hand.

That hand caught my eyes. My jaw dropped. I said: "I actually think your hand is the size of my foot."

He laid out his hand. 

I took off my shoe.

I put my shoe in his hand.

Yes, ladies and gentleman, my colleague's hand is exactly the same length as my foot...

On the weaknesses of the human brain -

I generally go swim laps with Caro on Thursday nights. (For that reason, I generally spend the following Friday in a haze of tiredness, but that's something else entirely.)

This week, we went swimming yesterday because Caro wasn't going to be able to make it to the pool tomorrow. Therefore, I keep thinking today is Friday. About every two minutes. (And the haze isn't helping.)
