this is what happens when I should be sleeping and decide to type instead : I forgot to say why I included some background info in my last post.

I just meant to say that if even I, a fast-reader, had read the beginning of the story too long ago to link the ending to it, imagine how confused your average speed reader will be. That's the kind of flashback you put in short stories, not in over 500-pages books !
