I like Tori Amos and Fiona Apple a lot. They both are great song writer, but the great difference between them is that when you read Fiona Apple, you actually understand what she's saying. It's much more complicated with Tori Amos.

Take the lyrics just above. I understood the rest of the song, about a girl who is being raped, so I didn't exactly wonder about this part, which I didn't get really.
But of course you have to wonder, because everything Amos writes has a meaning and is there for a reason - and finally, just this morning, I got it.
