"The university will be closed Friday, Feb. 25, for the annual President’s Holiday."
What the hell? I only learned that there was such a thing as a President's Day from Rob, who's from the US. Now why on earth would a Canadian university even care about a President's Day when there is no president in Canada? Second concern: if this President's Holiday is important enough for the uni to close, does it mean it's the same with all English schools? Does it mean that every English kid gets one more day off from school every year and we poor French kids are not aware of this?

I am very, very confused.
