On my personal Top 5 of the Things That Never Fail to Make Me Laugh whenever I think of them (avec la légendaire joke de la flèche de 10 choses que je déteste de toi): the beginning of the second volume of the Hitchiker's Guide to the Galaxy, when Arthur Dent has a long talk with the Nutri-Matic in order to get actual tea, the Nutri-Matic gets the idea and teams up with the Ship Computer for a while to figure it out, thereby removing all power from the ship... right when an ennemy ship starts firing at them.
