A long, long time ago, someone walked up to me and asked "how have we come to this?"

I didn't have an answer. All I knew is I had done all I could to move things around but nobody else wanted to and I couldn't do it on my own.

But today the question is still hanging in my head.

How have we come to this? All of us? All of this?
I remember what I should refer to as "before", and it was real and it was fun.

What's changed?
When did everyone become so self-centered and so fucked up?
