When the Male from the 21st Century is looking for shutters to replace those that flew off the house during the winter, he looks on the Home Depot website, finds shutters that clearly are not the right shade of blue and declares himself willing to paint in that new shade of blue all the exterior components of the house (door, stairs, etc.) so they'll all match, seemingly not caring about the fact that when you own a semi-detached house, basic respect calls for you NOT to suddenly start using a shade of blue that is in no way close to the one your neighbors have used on their own house.

When the Female for the 21st Century takes on the same endavour, she googles a little bit on the subject of painting shutters, and then finds such paintable shutters on the same Home Depot website.
