Well, that 15 hours span without electricity wasn't fun, but apparently, it effectively restored the default settings on my stove - or something. The timer alarm, which had mysteriously switched to beeping three times when the time was up and then never again in your lifetime (in a weird hear-it-or-I'll-burn-it attitude), has resumed its regular, every-few-seconds-until-you-come-running beeping pattern.
