Here's the thing: vulnerability turns each and everyone of us into someone else entirely as we try to deal, and it's not something we have control over. We only react, and because we're not thinking, straight or at all, the reactions come from a place buried deep down that we might not even have been previously aware existed.

Now that I've seen how bad you break, and mostly, break others, when you're vulnerable, I can't ever put it aside.

Because that place deep down doesn't change, and it's still going to be there the next time life throws a brick at you.

That is why I am not going to be.
