Yesterday was Raiontzukai's birthday. To celebrate, he chose to take a header off his bike on his way to work. (No worries, he's fine, but he does have a couple of respectable bloody wounds to show for it.)

The odd thing is, what happened to him is exactly what happened to me two years ago when I took a fall while riding, that is the path was slippery and the weight from his bag caused the bike to slip at a turn.

Or actually, the odd thing is rather that my own fall happened on October 3, 2016, exactly two years previously, and I mean to the day.

So apparently, October 3 is National Fly Off Your Bike Day for Raiontzukai and I.
