I heard of the GM Goodwrench's The Specialist Contest on French TV first, and it looked like they were just making fun of all the reality TV that's polluting TV nowadays. However, while I was watching English TV just minutes ago, they said "Watch The Specialist weekdays on Canada AM, blah, blah, blah" and this has me very troubled.

It still looks like a joke, and I guess they're making up episodes/sketches that they show on Canada AM, but still.
