This blogger is very, very unhappy to have just found out that US< Airways and United charge 15$ for the first checked piece of luggage. FIFTEEN BUCKS, damn it. Unbelievable. Seriously. And the current liquid restrictions make it impossible for anyone to only use carry-on luggage. This is ridiculous. US Airways is actually going to charge 20$ for checking the first piece of luggage as of July 9.
The good news is, I found that out before we got to the airport. I can assure you Raiontzukai and I will only be checking in one piece of luggage for the two of us.
