Rob: I've also considered getting a new keyboard, but I haven't even had this one for a whole year so far. And I'm also afraid that all black keyboards will do this (I can hear you just now going: well get a white keyboard!).
I do touch-type, though. I actually barely noticed that the letters were fading away until Peanut pointed it out to me.
Oh well. We'll see.
