Last night, my psychology teacher spent about 15 minutes explaining to us that he thought it'd be nice if we could write the short answers part of the final on the last day of class and only write the multiple choice questions on the scheduled date for the final so he'd have more time to correct everything and submit the grades in time.

Then he went on to say that he didn't like to do this because a lot of students don't come to class - they only show up for exam. That is exactly why professors are not allowed to make changes to the evaluation methods laid out on the course outline distributed at the beginning of the class.

And then he said that because of this, we would write the whole exam on the scheduled date, as we were always supposed to do, because students are vicious and full of hatred and would undoubtedly manage to have him crucified by the university if he did that.

That was a perfectly wasted quarter of an hour.
