Back in college, I was obsessed with Charmed. Those days are way gone now, but I still think of that TV show occasionally, and here's why.

I work on paper documents. (Here I could start ranting about a change-adverse generation, but I'll save it for another day.) Sometimes, those documents can be quite long. Like, over a hundred pages. And sometimes, because my goddess status unexpectedly fails me, I mix my pages up.

In Charmed, the sisters had this neat trick that allowed them to search the Book of Shadows for a specific term or subject by hovering their hands over it.

Each damn time I am looking for a page I mixed up, or for a term I know I saw just a couple of pages back for that matter, I really wish I could just hover my hands over the file.
