Quickly going through the TV channels with the clicker, looking for something that could provide my ears with a honorable background environment.

Catch a glimpse of CBC, vaguely hear some guy commenting what I'm seeing on the screen, that is a sheet of paper divided in two colums. One says "eruption starts at..." I don't even bother to read the time and I don't think much of it. Other column goes "killer pyroclastic flows".

Something in my mind twitches. I've heard that before.

There you go - I learned what pyroclastic flows were in my Natural Disasters class last semester.

And it is only at that point, even after reading the word "eruption" before, that I realize that the TV show CBC is airing must be about a volcanoe.

Yeah, thank you.
